Terms and Conditions:

1. Organisers
The organisers of the competition are Imana Foods (Pty) Ltd and Pick n Pay Family Oakfields, Oakfields Shopping Centre, Benoni (collectively referred to as the “Organisers”). This includes their directors, members, employees, agents, contractors, franchisees, suppliers, and service providers.
2. Competition Period
The competition commences on 7 April 2026 and closes on 7 May 2026. No late entries will be accepted.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The competition is open to South African residents who are 18 years or older.
3.2 Employees, directors, members, shareholders, agents, contractors, franchisees, suppliers, consultants of the Organisers, the Pick n Pay Group, Oakfields Shopping Centre, and their friends, relatives, immediate family members, or household members are not eligible to enter or participate.
3.3 Any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed invalid.
4. How to Enter
4.1 Participants must spend R500 or more in a single transaction at Pick n Pay Family Oakfields during the competition period.
4.2 The transaction must include either:

Any three (3) Imana Super-Sheba Potjie Mix sachets, or
-
A qualifying Imana Super-Sheba Potjie Mix deli meal purchased at Pick n Pay Family Oakfields.
4.3 The original till slip must be placed into the designated competition entry box with the entrant’s contact details clearly completed.
4.4 Multiple entries are permitted, provided that each entry is supported by a separate valid qualifying receipt.
4.5 Illegible, incomplete, altered, duplicated, or fraudulent entries will be deemed invalid.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1 One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries.
5.2 The winner will be announced on 9 May 2026.
5.3 The winner must be reachable using the contact details provided and must retain the original qualifying receipt.
5.4 If a winner is unable to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the Organisers reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
6. Prize
6.1 The prize consists of participation in the Imana x Pick n Pay Family Oakfields Potjie Dash, with groceries collected to a maximum total retail value of R5 000 (five thousand rand).
6.2 The prize is not transferable, not negotiable, and not redeemable for cash or credit.
6.3 Product availability is not guaranteed.
7. Potjie Dash Event Rules
7.1 The Potjie Dash is scheduled to take place on 17 May 2026, subject to change at the sole discretion of the Organisers.
7.2 The Organisers reserve the right to amend the date, time, duration, or format of the event for operational, safety, or unforeseen reasons.
7.3 The participant (winner or nominated substitute) will have two (2) minutes to collect items once the dash begins.
7.4 Only items that fit entirely inside the provided potjie pot may be included.
7.5 Only potjie-cooking-related items may be collected, unless expressly stated otherwise by the Organisers.
7.6 Certain items may be restricted or excluded, including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, medication, electronics, appliances, gift cards, bulk items, or high-value products.
7.7 The total value of items collected may not exceed R5 000. Any items exceeding this value must be removed or paid for by the participant.
8. Running, Physical Ability, and Nomination of a Substitute
8.1 The Potjie Dash will involve running or fast-paced movement within the store environment.
8.2 By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges and accepts that participation involves physical activity and agrees that they participate entirely at their own risk.
8.3 If the winner is unable or unwilling to run due to physical limitations, medical conditions, pregnancy, injury, or any other reason, they may nominate one (1) substitute participant to take part on their behalf.
8.4 The nominated substitute must be 18 years or older and may not be an employee, contractor, agent, or representative of Imana Foods, Pick n Pay, or Pick n Pay Family Oakfields.
8.5 It is the winner’s sole responsibility to:

Assess their own physical ability (or that of their substitute),

Nominate a suitable participant if required, and
-
Notify the Organisers in advance of any physical limitations or substitution.
8.6 The Organisers will not be responsible for assessing medical fitness or physical capability.
9. Conduct and Safety
9.1 All participants must comply with store rules, safety instructions, and directions given by store management or event staff.
9.2 Reckless, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate disqualification.
9.3 The Organisers reserve the right to stop the event at any time if safety is compromised.
10. Liability and Indemnity
10.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organisers shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, illness, or death arising from participation in the competition or Potjie Dash.
10.2 The winner and/or nominated substitute indemnifies and holds harmless the Organisers against any claims arising from participation, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
10.3 Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
11. Marketing and Publicity
By entering and/or accepting the prize, the winner and any nominated substitute agree to the use of their name, image, voice, and likeness for promotional and marketing purposes by the Organisers, without compensation and in perpetuity.

12. General
12.1 The Organisers reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any participant who tampers with the competition process.
12.2 The Organisers are not responsible for lost, damaged, delayed, or incomplete entries.
12.3 All decisions by the Organisers are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
