Chicken Tikka Wraps are inspired by the rich flavours of traditional Indian cuisine, where marinated chicken is cooked to tender perfection with aromatic spices and yogurt. Wrapped in a soft flatbread and paired with fresh vegetables and zesty sauces, these wraps combine bold, smoky flavours with vibrant textures. The result is a modern, convenient dish that brings the taste of authentic tikka to every bite - perfect for a quick lunch, casual dinner, or flavourful on-the-go meal.

INGREDIENTS:


  • 1 Onion, chopped and diced

  • 1 Green Pepper, diced

  • 3 Carrots, grated

  • 3 Tomatoes, chopped 

  • 1 tin Baked Beans 

  • 1 tsp Mixed Herbs 

  • 1tsp Garlic Powder 

  • 3 Tbsp IMANA Chakalaka Paste 

  • Salt and Pepper to taste 

  • 1 - 2 Tbsp Oil

METHOD:


  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the onion and green pepper until the onion becomes translucent.

  2. Add the grated carrots and cook for 2 minutes.

  3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes to allow the tomatoes to soften.

  4. Add the baked beans, mixed herbs, garlic powder, and IMANA Chakalaka Paste. Stir well.

  5. Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.

  6. Serve hot as a side dish, snack, or on toast.
