A HERITAGE WE CAN BE PROUD OF...

Traditionally made with ‘Rookworst’ in kitchens all over the Netherlands, sausage is typically eaten on a bed of soft and fluffy mashed potato, topped with fresh herbs and gravy.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Onion, chopped

  • 500g Pork sausages 

  • 500g Mashed potatoes

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • ½  cup Butter, melted

  • 1 IMANA Caramelised Onion & Balsamic Flavoured Gravy

METHOD

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Fry the onion and sausages in the oil until cooked.

  3. Arrange the fried onions and sausages in an ovenproof dish.

  4. Prepare the IMANA Caramelised Onion & Balsamic Flavoured Gravy as per packet instructions.

  5. Pour the prepared gravy over the sausages and cover with a thick layer of mashed potatoes.

  6. Brush the mashed potatoes with melted butter and bake for 20 minutes until golden.
