Rosemary, being native to the Mediterranean, meant that it was very popular in French and Italian cuisine being combined with garlic and lemon to flavour fresh fish that could be caught on the Mediterranean coast. It is a popular mix of flavours that are used to enhance the texture and flavour of meats, seafood and vegetables.
INGREDIENTS
60ml Oil
1 Whole chicken
1 Lemon
1 IMANA Roast Garlic & Rosemary Flavoured Gravy
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the contents of the IMANA Roast Garlic & Rosemary Flavoured Gravy packet with oil.
Rub over the chicken, inside and out.
Cut a lemon in half and place into the chicken.
Roast the chicken for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
